Unbelievable but true. Spending a few days in Guangzhou, I had the good idea to go do some shopping in Hong Kong. Two hours of comfortable TGV, the class ....... But the return to Canton turned to horror. At the customs office at the station in Canton, I was told that my visa (valid for 3 months) had died because I was out of China (to go to Hong Kong which I believed had been returned to China) . And I am expelled two charming watchdogs have given me forcibly on the train .... for Hong Kong. Obviously without a suitcase, with all my papers and notes etc in my room in Canton.
Approaches to Chinese Consulate in Hong Kong to regularize my visa had turned to horror Kafkaesque necessary papers (airfare, insurance) were on the other side. and anyway, it took at least four days, and it was the weekend .....
Review: I bought a ticket to Paris and left my belongings to the Red Guards.
Ironically, I had dinner Saturday night with relationships (another life) of the Chinese. Advised of what was happening, they made me give a bottle of rice wine in my room exile in Hong Kong .... to comfort me.

The hearing of former President Jacques Chirac is now claimed by the families of victims, the investigation into the attack in Karachi. In a letter sent on 2 February Trévidic Marc J. terrorism, conducting the investigation, Mr. Olivier Morice, the board of several plaintiffs, said the testimony of Mr. Chirac is now "indispensable to the manifestation of the truth."
In support of their claim the victims' families are based on the interrogation of former defense minister (1993-1995) Francois Leotard, heard as a witness on January 31 by Judge Trévidic. In this hearing that the world knew, Mr. Leotard ensures that the cessation of payments of commissions promised more intermediaries, outside of arms contracts, may cause the attack in Karachi: "This decision was taken because Jacques Chirac would support the idea that the money was used to finance the campaign of Mr. Balladur, then it is totally false. He was pursuing a war started (...) Thirty years before this is where I speak of lightness. rétrocommissions For if there had been, there are police and judges. "
Mr. Leotard protested to the judge: "he [Chirac] never any proof of the existence of rétrocommissions, and when I hear talk of Mr de Villepin is convinced that an end judiciary, and Mr. Millon strong suspicions about who is a policeman-term, I put question their intellectual integrity. "The former minister" swear on my honor ": the Republican Party which was then the president has never been funded by commissions from the contract Agosta.
Judges must therefore s 'question: who is telling the truth? Mr. Leotard, or camp Chirac? The outcome of their investigation depends on the answer to this question.
Mr. Leotard, it has its certainties: "first, it does not respect its commitments on commissions. Secondly, it does not meet its commitment not to sell submarines to India. It is the combination of these two elements have caused the attack. "To further explore the mysteries of these arms deals, the judge Renaud Van Ruymbeke, in charge of financial aspects, requested the declassification of documents seized Jan. 12 at Bercy on contracts signed in 1994.

According to a source familiar with the matter, the former Minister Francois Leotard told the judge Trévidic Marc, who heard Monday, January 31 in the investigation into the attack in Karachi, his conviction of having been tapped after the election of Jacques Chirac in 1995. The former defense minister Edouard Balladur was heard as a witness for several hours by the judge investigating the bombing in May 2002.
The magistrate following the trail of a terrorist attack which was organized in response to discontinuation of payment of commissions, decided by Jacques Chirac in 1995 on contracts concluded by the Balladur government. The successor of Francois Leotard of Defense Charles Millon, had admitted in court in November that members of the cabinet of Mr. Leotard had been tapped by the General Directorate for External Security (DGSE). But noted that "[his] knowledge" Mr. Leotard was not among them.
SUSPICIONS OF RÉTROCOMMISSIONS
Mr. Chirac had appointed certain services under the microscope to study the contracts concluded by the previous government, including Mr. Leotard. These audits have aroused suspicions of "rétrocommissions" into French makers. The judge in charge of another aspect of the case in Karachi, Renaud Van Ruymbeke, had asked in November to the Prime Minister, Francois Fillon, to declassify the content of plays performed by the DGSE, but he had refused, after a notice unfavorable to the advisory panel of defense secrets National (CCSDN).
